I love a good French film and the one I’m going to share with you is a true delight. It’s a sweet, romantic comedy with just enough pathos to create a pleasant sense of tension. This Francophile film is called “Un Peu Beaucoup Aveuglement” or “Blind Date”.

Francophile Film: Un Peu Beaucoup Aveuglement
I heard about this film from Shannon Ables of The Simply Luxurious Life. She shared 12 French (or set in France) films on one of her podcasts and when I found this one on Netflix I just had to watch it.
This 2015 romantic comedy is the story of two very unique people who end up being neighbors in a building with soundproofing issues. I loved every minute of it and just had to share it with you.
From Netflix:
“A passionate pianist and a soulful puzzle maker who treasures silence aren’t the best neighbors, but things get interesting when they start to date.”
Unfortunately it doesn’t seem to be available on DVD in the United States but it is on Netflix. So clear your schedule for an hour and a half, pour yourself a glass of wine and enjoy this charming film.
