David’s boss will be in town and we are going out to dinner.
Tonight our church’s Wednesday night potluck starts up again after the summer hiatus. If David can get off work in time I think we will go. In any case, I have choir rehearsal following at 6:45.
- homemade vegetable soup (I have a bunch of veggies that I want to use up.)
- homemade bread
This is my birthday and we have tickets to see the band, Boston. We’ll eat dinner somewhere first.

- whiskey glazed carrots
We are going to Joplin for the weekend for a business retirement dinner.
*Important note: I will be launching a website, Life With Dee, soon. My fingers are crossed that I can launch it on my birthday, August 27th. If not then, September 1st is my secondary option. Dee’s Kitchen will be part of the new site. I will continue to post our menus on Mondays and will increase the food-related content. I’m working on having regular guest posts (the first one is going to be really interesting!) and more recipes. It will take a bit of time to get everything “just so” but eventually I will have all the recipes categorized for easy access. In addition to the content you have been reading here, my posts from Tea With Dee will be on the new site, as well. AND…you will find lots of interesting content curated from a variety of sources on topics including home and garden, style and fashion, travel, music, book and film reviews, current events and much more. I have several excellent writers lined up to write features for the site. I’m really excited about this and hope you will continue to follow me at the new site. I will keep this blog up for awhile in order to give everyone time to find Life With Dee and get it in your reader (if you use one), bookmarked or signed up to receive emails and/or newsletter. Stay tuned!
