We are flying to California on Thursday for my uncle’s memorial service and will return late next Tuesday. My plan is to stay out of the store and use up perishables before we go.
- French toast
- organic sausage links
- fresh peaches
- scalloped potatoes and yellow squash with bell peppers and onions
- corn on the cob
- fried okra (my mom gave me some from her friend’s garden)
- tossed green salad with tomatoes
- sliced oranges
I have a hunch I’ll be about done in trying to get ready to leave:
- pizza (take-out)
- salad (use up the last of the lettuce and tomatoes)
