Oh, Christmas tree…

December 23, 2015 By Deanna Piercy 5 Comments

I finally got our tree decorated last night. Wanna see?

Seasons Greetings

I only put on a couple of strands of gold beads rather than all the gold and burgundy I usually do. And that’s a fraction of our ornaments. I’m still hopeful that I’ll get the tinsel on it. I put it on one strand at a time so it remains to be seen if I’ll find the time.

We’ve had some changes to our holiday plans and my daughter isn’t feeling well. At this point I just plan to be here and feed anyone who shows up. There’s a good chance I won’t have time to blog the next couple of days so I want to take this opportunity to wish you a very merry Christmas.

Now I’d better go wrap some gifts!

You have much more “gumption” than me…if I didn’t have my tree decorated by now, I’d simply give up! lol We don’t even put up a big tree anymore; just a small tabletop one. I am so sorry to hear your daughter is sick. Merry Christmas to you and your family! xoxo

Fortunately after starting steroids (she’s asthmatic) she was well enough to join us Christmas morning. As for the tree, since we keep it up until well in January it was still worthwhile. I love the pretty lights in the evening. 🙂 I hope you had a nice Christmas.

Sorry you’re daughter isn’t feeling well… Hope she feels better soon.

I also hope your holiday celebrations are going well, and that you and your family have a very merry Christmas (despite the change of plans and sick daughter).
