An easy, no fuss way to have delicious turkey any day of the week.
Remove wrappings and gravy packet (if included) and place turkey breast in Instant Pot on the trivet which comes with it.
Season with garlic salt and pepper.
Tuck 1/2 stick of butter in cavity of turkey breast.
If using onion, place slices around turkey.
Pour chicken broth around turkey and place lid on Instant Pot.
Using "Slow Cook" setting, set timer for 7 hours if thawed, 9 if frozen.
When time is up, check for doneness with instant read thermometer. It should read 165 degrees in the thickest part of the meat.
Carefully remove turkey breast and keep warm.
Strain drippings and use to make gravy if desired.
