I started this whole “31 posts in 31 days” thing three days late and then forgot to post yesterday. Hmm…am I afraid of success? 😉
I should be at church right now. And I actually wish that were the case. However, our septic tank had different ideas. David is out digging right now to determine the problem. Fun times! As I shared with friends on an email list this morning, the good news is that there is a bathroom in Chris’ house (guest house on our property). The bad news is that it is in Chris’ house. I just pretend it’s “Little House on the Prairie” days and I’m using an outhouse. At least this one has running water and there is a noticeable lack of spiders and snakes.
I did manage to complete my Christmas shopping Friday. God Bless Amazon.com. Amen. And yesterday I finished and sent out my monthly “Tea With Dee” newsletter. Hopefully I can complete my Christmas newsletter today and maybe put out our nativity set. I took down all the Thanksgiving/fall decorations yesterday while pondering why it’s difficult to get them to fit back into the same container they came out of.
And maybe I can even catch up on another post or two for this blog. Maybe.
