“For I was hungry, while you had all you needed. I was thirsty, but you drank bottled water. I was a stranger, and you wanted me deported. I needed clothes, but you needed more clothes. I was sick, and you pointed out the behaviors that led to my sickness. I was in prison, and you said I was getting what I deserved.”~ Matthew 25:35-36
The quote above is Richard Stearn’s translation of a well-known biblical passage. Stearn is the CEO of World Vision and has written the book, “The Hole in Our Gospel”. My blogging friend, Cherie, shared this on her blog, Renaissance Garden and I found it quite thought-provoking. I’m adding this book to my reading list. I think it’s about time that Christians really focus on what Jesus told us to DO rather than focusing so much on the “thou shalt nots”.

I love it! I decided that a lot of Christians are color blind and can't see the red words so that is why they don't live like Jesus.
