This past Friday, inspired by some reminiscing by my kids, I posted on Facebook several clips from television programs I watched as a child. I must have had well over 50 responses and comments from friends who enjoyed the little trip down Memory Lane.
I’ve been doing Menu Plan Mondays on my Dee’s Kitchen blog, and Music Mondays on my Well-Groomed Hippie blog. I had been trying to think of something like that for this blog and now I’ve got it. Each Monday I’ll post something that triggers a fond memory for me. If you are around my age, many of them will probably strike a chord for you as well. If you’d like to participate and post your own Memory Lane Mondays, be sure to leave me a comment and I’ll visit your blog. Oh, and please link back to this post. As soon as I have time, I’ll make a Memory Lane Monday badge for blog sidebars for those who would like to participate.
And now for the first memory:
“I Love Lucy” was originally aired well before I was born but I have enjoyed watching re-runs ever since I was a small child. I have seen every episode many times and own the first two seasons on DVD. Lucille Ball was an absolute comedic genius and I never tire of these shows. Enjoy!
