Every Sunday afternoon I sit down and plan my week, including our menu plan. I take a look at our schedule and decide what fits best with our plans. Here is our menu for the coming week:
Dee’s Menu Plan
Monday
- red beans
- rice
- salad
- French bread
Tuesday
- Best Ever Enchiladas
- salad
- chips and salsa
Wednesday
I’m going to the farmers market so dinner will be a variety of fresh vegetables and fruits – the best of what I can find there.
Thursday
We have a meeting at 4 and will then eat dinner at the restaurant next door.
Friday
- Creamy Tuscan Garlic Chicken
- pasta
- salad
- French Bread
Saturday
We will probably go out to dinner and listen to live music at our favorite Italian restaurant.
Sunday
Mexican food after church and save half for dinner.

What’s on your menu this week?
Menu Planning: Save Time in the Kitchen

You know, if you were to change what you do on a Sunday, it would complaetly throw me off, because I’m so used to seeing about you having Mexican food after church, and saving half for dinner. LOL! Sorry… Just popped in to my head, LOL!
Anyway…
I always try to make a menu, but nine times out of ten I change my mind, or go to get something and can’t get some of what I’d need to make it, so end up making something else. But, never-the-less, here’s my tentative menu for this week:
Monday: Pineapple and cashew fried rice with sweet and sour sauce.
Tuesday: Cheesy fries.
Wednesday: Egg and cress sandwiches with fresh fruit.
Thursday: Butternut squash lasagne.
Friday: Homemade pizza with garlic bread.
Saturday: Mushroom burger and fries.
Sunday: Roast potatoes and fresh vegetables.

One of these days I should post something different on Sunday just to see if you are paying attention. Ha!
I don’t always follow my menu either but it at least gives me a starting point for the week.
Tori says
Yes, it’s nice to have that starting point…
