Monday:
We spent the last few days celebrating my birthday in OKC and Dallas, only arriving home a little while ago. That calls for a super easy dinner.
- grilled hot dogs
- chips
- fruit
Tuesday:
I bought a jar of sauce to make butter chicken and a jar of chutney on my last trip to Whole Foods. I have my first piano lesson Tuesday afternoon so it will be nice to have another fairly easy dinner. I think I still have some homemade naan bread in the freezer and I’ll make extra rice for Wednesday.
- Indian butter chicken
- rice
- naan bread
- yogurt, chutney, raisins as toppings
- salad
Wednesday:
I have choir rehearsal at 6:45 and then we are doing our Fantasy Football draft at 8:30. That means we have to eat before rehearsal. I can have this meal made up a little early and keep warm until David gets home from work so we can eat immediately.
- black bean enchiladas
- Spanish rice (using leftovers from Tuesday)
- salad
Thursday:
David and I will be volunteering at Abba’s Table, a community soup kitchen. I’ll be cooking from 2-5 and David will come at 5 to serve and help clean up. This is our first time with this particular organization but I’m assuming we’ll eat there.
Friday:
We are going out to hear a friend perform at 9 p.m. but we’ll enjoy a nice dinner at home first. I’ll probably even open a bottle of wine.
- French roasted chicken
- mashed potatoes
- whiskey glazed carrots
- salad
- homemade rolls
Saturday:
I don’t have any idea what’s on our agenda for Saturday although I’m hoping it will be a quiet evening at home after a busy week.
- probably leftovers!
