Isn’t that pretty? I brought my dad some green beans cooked with new potatoes (a favorite of his and mine) and a couple of slices of cantaloupe this evening. I visited with my parents about an hour and a half and as I was leaving I snapped this picture of their pasture. I love the look of hay bales in a freshly mown pasture. It’s been VERY dry this year so the yield isn’t good and the grass is pretty much dried up. Still, it made for a nice photo, don’t you think?
