Tomorrow night we will bid 2015 adieu and welcome 2016 with a glass of champagne or two.
I’ve been doing a lot of thinking about the coming year and what I want to accomplish. A couple of weeks ago as I was in the process of creating the 4-page Christmas newsletter I send in our Christmas cards each year, I began to think about not only what happened in 2015 but what I hope to share in next year’s newsletter. For some reason that puts a little different spin on the whole New Year’s resolutions thing. For two or three days, each time I walked Shiloh I would imagine my 2016 Christmas newsletter and what I want it to include.
And then this morning I listened to this podcast:
Thank you Deanna.
It truly has helped me decide how I want to see the New Year in. In the past I always became very upset on the passing of the year but during the last decade I have been working at facing the fear of what the future may be and seeing the New Year in with growing optimism and even excitement.
So your post today will actually help me see how far I have come. Mary
Oh, I’m so glad it was helpful to you, too. Happy New Year, my dear friend. 🙂
Good questions, but I’m not celebrating anything from this year other than I got through it. For 2016, I hope to be celebrating my son’s graduation from college in May! Happy New Year, Deanna. 🙂
It seems that 2015 was a challenging year for many. I can’t say I’m sorry to see it in the rearview mirror. How exciting for your son to be graduating! That’s definitely worthy of celebration. Happy New Year!
