I had groceries from Aldi delivered to my daughter’s porch on Friday afternoon. You’ll likely notice that this is a large grocery haul. I decided to try to buy two weeks’ worth of groceries. Hopefully I planned well enough for that! I also had her order a couple of things for me from Crowd Cow, an online source of quality meat. I’m looking forward to trying those items.

I organized my stuffed freezer this afternoon and discovered that I have way more than I realized in there. I definitely have enough meat for a few weeks, as well as a lot of frozen vegetables. I’ve started working on a two-week menu but for now I’ll just share one for the coming week.
Menu:
Monday – spaghetti and meatballs, salad, Italian bread
Tuesday – Mexican casserole (tortillas, beans, corn, rice, green chilis, cheese), salad
Wednesday – pork chops, baked cauliflower with cheese sauce, cooked apples, salad
Thursday – sheet pan dinner (sausages, peppers, onion, red potatoes)
Friday – grilled cheeseburgers, corn on the cob, baked beans, french fries
Saturday – Haluski, peas, fruit
Sunday – waffles, sausage, eggs, smoothies
Honest Crowd Cow Review (My daughter did a review on her blog in case you want to know more about this company. This was my first order and I just added it to Lisa’s. I will probably sign up for my own account at some point.)
At least if it turns out you didn’t quite get enough for two weeks you have plenty in your freezer you can use to make do for whatever you might be short.
Nice menu. I tried the haluski. It was nice, but a bit dry for my liking, since I like a good bit of sauce with my noodles. I threw a bit of hoisin sauce in it though, and it was lovely then.
Hoisin sauce sounds like a good addition!
