I’m back with another “lock down” grocery haul. This one is bigger than usual as I wanted to stock a bit extra meat and get some more fresh produce. I got most of what I had on my list this time. The only things missing were some coconut shrimp I wanted to try and I only got one of the two packages of filets I had on the list. There are two to a package and I’m feeding three people. No problem, though. I put the package in the freezer and will try again next week.

How are things going with you? Is your area still on “lock down”? Ours is pretty much open but we are not comfortable with that just yet. I’m watching the numbers every day and following the advice of medical professionals rather than politicians. Hopefully we can start gradually loosening up in a couple of weeks.

That’s a good grocery haul, and a nice menu. Yes, we’re still on lockdown, though you wouldn’t know it with how some people are behaving. *sigh*
I have to do my menus after my fruit and veg box comes on Wednesdays, but I had vegan sausage roll with chips (fries) and baked beans for Monday’s dinner, and am planning to make mashed potatoes and turnips with carrots and broccoli for tonight (Tuesday) which will also feed me tomorrow. I might make that recipe you shared the other day on Thursday, since I have a bit of cabbage left to use up from last week’s box, and it would be a good idea to use that before starting on the new stuff.
We have the same issue here with people not following the social distancing guidelines. So annoying.
