One of the little girls in our church had this great idea of hosting a baby shower for the babies of Haiti. Our denomination is putting together “baby kits” and shipping them to Haiti. Lots of people around the country have collected the requested items or donated money toward the cause but I thought the idea of actually hosting a shower was brilliant.

So what did they raise for HAiti? Wonderful kids, just wonderful, sweet kids!! KUDOS, no matter what it was!
AWESOME!! What a neat idea. An awesome bunch of kiddos.
I haven't heard the final tally but I'll find out Sunday and report back. I do know that before the shower even took place, the church office had received almost $60 and the donation bowl on the table had $20 bills in it. That's in addition to the actual gifts people brought in.
What a great project for kids – and a great example for them to continue.
