By mid-afternoon tomorrow, David and I will be zipping along I-10 in a cab toward the French Quarter. Our plan is to check into our condo as quickly as possible and then head to Mother’s for a late lunch. Then it’s off to Jackson Square to hear Big Al Carson performing as one of the French Quarter Fest acts. We might try to catch a quick nap before our friends, Debi and Bryan, begin playing at 9 p.m. at Tropical Isle. After that, what happens is anyone’s guess.
We’ll be in our favorite place for 10 days which will most certainly not feel long enough. I hope to blog a few times while we are there, although pictures will have to wait until we get home. They might be worth the wait, though. Especially the ones from the pirate convention.
