We’ve had no Internet since storms came through Wednesday evening so my Happyland post is still on hold. In the meantime I thought I’d show you what David is up to.
High up on that scaffolding he is ripping off the old siding which he will then replace with log siding. I’m terrified for him so high in the air but he says he’ll be fine. I hope so since I’m now in town for a dental appointment. Oh, and we are expecting severe storms this evening. Should make for an interesting day,
I think log siding will look terrific on the front of the house. You'll start to get that mountain chalet feeling, lol.
We kept batting around different paint color ideas and then it hit me one day. Log siding! David's already done the back and the peaks on the ends. It does indeed look terrific. It really goes with the stone on the first story and fits our wooded setting.
