February ~ The Paris Assignment
This is the first recommended book I have selected from Dee. From the beginning, I was captivated by the lovely community and residents as well as the descriptions of lavender fields and cooking. It has made me obsessed with the scent of lavender and I have purchased some lavender scented products. I have searched for lavender farms in my area and plan to visit soon. I enjoyed Del, the main character, stepping out to create a better life for herself and in the process was able to create a better world for her friends and the marginal and overlooked members of her community. This book is a keeper to be savored over and over.
