Not that I need any more encouragement but the French Quarter gets a perfect 100 out of 100 score as a walkable city. David and I discovered long ago that a car is totally unnecessary and actually a bit of a hassle in the French Quarter. Once in awhile we’ll catch a cab, particularly late at night if our feet are hurting but most of the time we walk. It’s a good thing, too. If it weren’t for all the walking we do I can’t imagine how much weight we’d gain while we are there.

Ada got a good score but I don’t think they take in to account the neighbors or the fact that people have a thing against people who walk or ride bikes.
I think Beth Terry’s walk looks pretty. I’m starting to think I belong in San Fran. Not sure Justin thinks so. haha

Hmm..we once took a walk down the wrong road near the French Quarter and had some guy follow us begging for money. Then he yelled because my dad didn’t give him enough…lol We learned which we needed to go after that. It was an interesting encounter. I still can’t wait to go back! I love that place! I however want to move to Frisco…
