It’s been a lovely Thanksgiving and now I’m sitting here feeling full, happy and sleepy. David made it home from his business trip, something which I had been worried about with all the bad weather and cancelled flights. I did wake up from our nap with a massive case of hives and swollen face/eyes/lips but a couple of Benadryl eventually fixed that. We went to my cousin’s for dinner and had such a nice time catching up with everyone. We then stopped by the Quality Inn to see a few friends. We didn’t stay long but after our self-inflicted hibernation the past few weeks (I’ve been dealing with a pretty significant asthma attack and David’s still coughing from his cold three weeks ago) we were craving a bit of socializing and the chance to hug a few friends.
Happy Thanksgiving
Back at home, I just finished a breathing treatment and David took Shiloh for a walk. Now it’s time to turn in for the night and hopefully catch up on some much-needed sleep. I hope each of you had a wonderful day, too. I’m thankful for each and every one of my readers and appreciate you more than you know. Happy Thanksgiving!
