I made my own simple pizza sauce by adding just a few ingredients to tomato sauce:
- oregano
- basil
- garlic powder
- rosemary
- a little sugar
- drizzle of olive oil
These were very good “as is” but you could certainly dress them up with bell peppers, black olives or anything else you like on pizza.
What are your favorite pizza toppings? Do you like pineapple on yours? Apparently that’s a controversial topic. 😉
This post is linked up at Miz Helen’s “Full Plate Thursday”:
My favourite pizza toppings are mushrooms, onion, and sweetcorn.
I do sometimes have pineapple on a pizza, but not very often. If I do, it’s usually pineapple and mushroom.
I’ve never seen corn on a pizza. That sounds really interesting! I’ll have to try that next time I make pizza at home.
Really? I had no idea sweetcorn on a pizza was considered unusual…
It’s not common here in the U.S. but it sounds rather tasty. I’m going to try it!
Hi Dee,
