Laissez le bon temps rouler!

The eagerly awaited day has arrived.  As soon as David and Chris can finish up at work we are off to New Orleans!  We are driving this time and after seeing how many bags “David the Pirate” has packed of just his stuff, I can only hope we can fit it all in the Prius.  We all have tickets for Voodoo Fest this weekend and then Chris (poor kid) has to fly home on Monday and go back to work.  David and I have another week to enjoy our favorite city, dear friends and each other. 

I’ve got some blog posts pre-written and scheduled during our time away and also hope to find a little time now and then to post about our NOLA adventures.  We will definitely be posting on Facebook so if you are on our friends lists there you will no doubt see pictures of wonderful food, unusual people and fun times, as well as status updates.  I’m hoping to remember to use Twitter now and then as well.  We have a number of friends who say they live vicariously through us when we post about New Orleans so we do our best to help out. 😉

Well, I’ve got some last minute packing to do so I’d better finish this up.  I think this would be an appropriate time to remind my readers of my personal motto:
