I was in the city yesterday to meet up with a friend and afterwards I made a stop at Whole Foods. Man, I love that place! I bought fresh corn on the cob, asparagus, cherries, strawberries, a nice cheddar, croissants and a baguette. I’m going to try to make it to the local farmers market Wednesday morning. Gotta take advantage of summer produce while it lasts!
Monday:
- roasted potatoes, onions, peppers with grated cheese
- fresh corn on the cob
- tossed green salad
- sliced tomatoes from my garden
- fresh strawberries
Tuesday:
- buttermilk pancakes or waffles
- organic sausage links
- fruit smoothies
Wednesday:
- grilled burgers
- roasted asparagus
- corn on the cob
- potato salad
- fresh fruit
Thursday:
- jambalaya (from freezer)
- leftover potato salad
- fresh fruit
Friday:
- Penne Mediterranean
- salad
- garlic bread
Saturday:
- Date night! (It’s been awhile since we’ve been out to dinner at our favorite Italian place.)
