This week we have a few holiday-related activities and I’m also hoping to wrap up my prep work. I would LOVE to have next week to simply enjoy the holidays. It remains to be seen if I can pull it off but I’m going to give it all I’ve got. How are your holiday preparations coming along?

I hope you do manage to wrap up the prep work this week, and can enjoy the holidays next week.
I’ve got a few last minute things to buy foodwise – perishable items I can’t get ahead of time mainly – but am otherwise about as ready as I’m going to be for the holidays. Everything I’m sending has been sent, and some of it has arrived with the people, and our non-perishable shopping items are brought ahead of time. We’re not doing much in the way of decorating this year, because Lilie is still in puppy chew mode, and I’m scheduled to go away for several days around when we’d normally be putting the decorations away, so we’re keeping that to an absolute minimum this year: Just a little wooden tree I got to sit on the table, and one or two other things to keep it company, which are already on the table.
Aw, Lilie’s first Christmas. 🙂 Btw, I received your card a couple of days ago. I had hoped to have mine out the beginning of this week but that hasn’t happened. I have some of them ready to go so I’m going to pop yours and that of another friend in England in the mail tomorrow in the hopes they’ll make it before Christmas.
