We’ve got another busy week ahead as we get ready for our vacation. We are going to California to celebrate our 35th anniversary and I am really excited!
But first, a menu:
Dee’s Weekly Menu
Monday
I still have most of the produce I bought at the farmers market last week so I will be making an effort to use it all up before we leave.
- squash casserole
- green beans with new potatoes
- salad
Tuesday
- Lentil Tacos
- lettuce, tomato, green onions, cheese, sour cream (toppings for the tacos)
- chips and salsa
Wednesday
I’ve invited the kids over to grill burgers with us.
- grilled cheeseburgers
- homemade coleslaw
- homemade potato salad
- baked beans
- chips
- fruit
Thursday
- barbecue chicken
- leftover coleslaw
- leftover potato salad
Friday
Since we leave Saturday morning, I’ll serve sandwiches and/or any leftovers we still have on hand.

Sounds like a great menu this week! How exciting that you’re going to CA for your anniversary. We went to San Francisco and Napa for our 25th anniversary back in 2009. We absolutely loved it.

I haven’t been to San Francisco in many years. I’d love to go there again one of these days. There are lots of great places to visit in California.
Btw, the squash casserole I made tonight was delicious. Let me know if you want the recipe.

Hope you enjoy your trip… Have fun!
Yesterday (Monday) I had veggie burger with fries and salad.
Today (Tuesday) I’m having cheesy fries.
Tomorrow (Wednesday) I’m having a salad wrap.
I haven’t gotten any further than that for this week’s meals.

Thanks, Tori – we will!
