Monday:
I didn’t make tacos last Friday because my sweet husband offered to go pick up dinner from our favorite Italian restaurant. I had a rather intense dental appointment that afternoon and was still a bit loopy from the nitrous oxide. So tonight will be taco night. I invited Chris and Kadi to eat with us, too.

- fresh Mandarin oranges
Tuesday:
I had chicken and waffles for the first time when we went to Austin a few months ago. Yum! They were made with boneless chicken which is what I plan to do.

Wednesday:
It’s David’s birthday and he loves sweet and sour meatballs. He also prefers cherry pie instead of birthday cake so that’s what I always bake for his birthday.

- steamed veggies (cauliflower, broccoli and carrots)
- homemade cherry pie
Thursday:
This time of year I love to do an all-vegetable dinner at least once a week.
- roasted red potatoes (with onions, peppers and topped with grated cheese)
- fresh corn on the cob
- tossed green salad
Friday:
We have one and maybe two parties to attend on Friday so this meal might get moved to Saturday.

Saturday:
That benefit concert I mentioned last week is really this Saturday (got the dates wrong). If we don’t eat the meal I have listed for Friday I’ll make it this evening. Otherwise we may go out to eat.
