One thing you might notice in this week’s menus is the large number of eggs used. That is because my hens are all laying well and I currently have 71 eggs in my refrigerator.
Monday:
Today is Labor Day. David is off but is working on replacing the siding on the house. He deserves a special meal tonight.
- grilled steaks with PW’s Onion-Blue Cheese Sauce
- baked potatoes
- salad with tomatoes from my garden
- deviled eggs
Tuesday:
- Zucchini and tomatoes over pasta (using up the last of the zucchini from my garden)
- garlic bread or rolls
- tossed green salad
Wednesday:
- ham
- green beans
- salad
- cornbread
Thursday:
- quiche
- salad
- fruit
Friday:
Our young adults group is coming over and they are begging for jambalaya.
- jambalaya
- potato salad
- French bread
- bread pudding
Saturday:
- leftovers!

darnold23: I will definitely check out the Crockpot Wednesday thing. That's choir rehearsal night for me so it's good when I can leave dinner for the guys in the crockpot.
