David and I are leaving Thursday for a much-needed vacation. We will be going to our “happy place”, New Orleans. I’ll try to post some pictures of the fabulous food we will be enjoying there. As for this week’s menu, it will just be Monday through Wednesday and I’m trying to use up perishables so it’s not terribly exciting.
Monday:
- potato soup (from leftover mashed potatoes)
- salad
Tuesday:
- French toast
- scrambled eggs
- fruit smoothies
Wednesday:
- asparagus stir fry over organic pasta
- salad
- deviled eggs (we have a LOT of eggs right now!)
I’m looking for a couple of guest posters. Do you have a favorite recipe you’d like to see featured here? If so, leave me a comment and I’ll contact you. It can be anything you like as long as it contains real ingredients. In other words, no mixes, canned soups, margarine, shortening or highly processed stuff. If you have a photo to go with it that would be wonderful but it’s not a requirement.
