Yet another crazy week. I have four…count ’em…FOUR meetings this week. Plus choir rehearsal, co-op pick-up, the Alternative Gift Market and decorating the church for Christmas (after church on Sunday). Somewhere in all that I need to start working on my annual Christmas letter, do some Christmas shopping (online – and let us all give thanks for Amazon…amen), bake bread, clean house, and probably other things I’m forgetting at the moment. Deep breath. David left on a short business trip yesterday and will be home late Tuesday. That actually gives me a little extra time in the evenings as I will do simpler dinners and can continue my projects later. Let’s hope it’s enough!
Monday:
- cream of cauliflower soup
- homemade bread if I get some baked this afternoon
Tuesday:
- taco soup
Wednesday:
- baked potatoes
- salad
Thursday:
- I have back-to-back meetings this night so everyone is on their own!
Friday:
- artichokes
- lemon pepper chicken
- brown rice
- glazed carrots
Saturday:
- homemade egg rolls
- fried rice
I will be sharing Thanksgiving recipes and cooking tips over the next few days. If you have a favorite holiday recipe, please share in the comments.
