How was your Thanksgiving holiday (if you celebrate)? We had a lovely time. David and I did something different this year. We stayed in a hotel Wednesday night and had a delicious holiday meal at the hotel restaurant on Thursday. Then we had the kids over on Friday for our family meal. I’ll include a family pic at the end of this post and you can see more on Instagram. This week’s menu plan is an attempt to recover a bit from Thanksgiving!
Dee’s Menu Plan
Monday
- large tossed green salad with turkey, peppers, dried cranberries, croutons
- deviled eggs
- rolls
Tuesday
- turkey tacos
- chips and salsa
Wednesday
- Low Calorie Vegetable Soup (Instant Pot recipe)
- French bread
- fresh pineapple
Thursday
- cheeseburgers (on the grill if it’s warm enough)
- French fries
- baked beans

We are hosting the kickoff event for our non-profit. There will be live music and a catered dinner.
Saturday
Sunday
We’ll probably eat out somewhere or get take-out. We leave Monday on vacation so we will be busy packing.

It’s kind of crazy that it’s the end of November and it’s still possible that it will be warm enough to grill ha. I tried to grill the other day but we were out of gas, oops.

The weather has been unusually warm until now but I’m not complaining.
