If you are using corn on the cob from the Farmers market, I hope you have better luck than I did. I bought and paid for a dozen ears…they were busy, admittedly, but he SAID that since they were small he was giving me 15. I got home and had 10, and more than half was not usuable. I ended up buying more at the store, which I hated, but had already promised my father in law fried corn!

I am not doing well making it to the farmers market this season so these were from Apple Market. I'd prefer something locally grown but so far, each time I've bought them at Apple this season, they've been very good.

Just so you know, I'm coming over Thursday. I don't know how much longer I can go without homemade bread…lol I can't have it in my house or i'd be as big as Shamu's mom.

LOL! I have a board meeting at 6 so dinner will be a bit late — probably 7:30 or 8:00. Do you need directions? 😉

lol..I'll just follow the smell to your kitchen! I just hope nobody else is making homemade bread, too…

Frances: You come visit me and I'll fix you a good ol' Oklahoma dinner. And then I'll go see you and we can try out that créme brulée you mentioned on your blog. 😉
