I’ve been wanting to attend a blog conference ever since I knew such a thing existed. My daughter and I have been talking about this for several years but most conferences are on one of the coasts which would necessitate plane tickets. So when we heard that Blog Elevated would be in Dallas we knew we’d found our opportunity.
We headed to Dallas around noon this past Friday. The meet-and-greet didn’t start until 6 p.m. but we wanted to stop at Trader Joe’s first and also have time to freshen up a bit after we checked into our hotel. There was a very nice reception and we had the opportunity to chat with other bloggers.
And then Saturday morning things got real. My head is still spinning from it all. Saturday and Sunday were jam-packed with excellent speakers and opportunities to network with other bloggers. It will take me awhile to digest it all but I came away with numerous actionable ideas. Perhaps even more importantly, I left with a sense of excitement and the belief that I can do this. I have a lot of work ahead of me and I’m counting on you, my readers, to help guide me. Leave me comments. Tell me which posts resonate with you. Give me ideas for future posts. I want Life With Dee to provide you with helpful information, interesting stories, tasty recipes and inspiration to live your life with grace and intention. I’ll need your feedback, though, so hit that comment button often. Let’s take this journey together!
We don’t have In-N-Out nearby so we had to indulge.

Good for you! Glad you had a great time and that you are inspired with “actionable ideas.” Very good words indeed.

It really was an excellent experience. Now I just need to put what I learned into practice. 😉

Sounds like fun, but maybe also a little overwhelming? I hope you share some of the things you learned with us!

That about sums it up – fun and overwhelming. I should write a post about what I learned. That’s a good idea.

I’d love to read about some of the things you learned.

I’ll start working on a post about it.
