Lisa and I did our monthly shopping last Thursday (here’s the link to her grocery haul post). We went to Oklahoma City instead of just Norman so we could hit Whole Foods. It was rather warm when we left town but a cold front came through while in the city and it got COLD! By the time I got home it was nearly 8 p.m. and I hadn’t had dinner. That is why the only picture I took was the one above with everything still in the bags. I was too worn out to arrange everything on the table so you’ll have to use your imagination.
I’ll be picking up my Azure Standard co-op order tomorrow and then I’ll be fully stocked for the apocalypse or whatever lies ahead for the next few weeks. Here is what I bought:

The total is rather high this month but it includes a turkey, organic socks, candles, extra baking items which should last through the winter, and a few holiday items. If, for some reason, I’m unable to make a shopping trip in December I’ll still be pretty well-stocked for the month other than milk and some fresh produce which I can pick up here in town if need be. Plus, I didn’t do a major October shopping trip so overall I think it evens out.
Have you done your Thanksgiving food shopping yet? I’m so glad I won’t have to brave the crowds this week!
