Do you read one book at a time or are you like me and have several going at once? I don’t read more than one novel at a time but I do have a few non-fiction books in process at the same time. I read all over the house as you will see in the following pictures.
The Family Room
“Mastering the Art of French Cooking” by Julia Child
On the treadmill
“The Gift of a Year” by Mira Kirshenbaum
Bathroom
“Simple Abundance” by Sarah Ban Breathnach
Bedside Table
“Sights Unseen” by Kaye Gibbons
“The Message”
a daily devotional from church
Mary Jane’s Farm (magazine)
Countryside (magazine)

Of course that doesn’t include an audiobook in the car and all the online reading I do. So, what are you reading these days?

I have to many books going right now. Do you own "Crazy for God" by Francis Schaeffer? If so when I finish my stack I have going and the books I need to review I would love to read that.

Yes, I own that copy. It's VERY interesting. Let me know when you are ready to borrow it.

I'm also a multiple book reader, almost always one novel and a variety of nonfiction. Usually I read the various books at different times of the day or the week. Occasionally, I'll have a novel that I'm listening to on my ipod. Also, I like to have some type of devotional going as well, not necessarily a religious book. Sometimes it's a book on social justice or a collection of essays.
Looks like we have some similar tastes in reading. I'm curious to hear how you like "Crazy for God" as that's on my wish list.

"Crazy For God" has been quite interesting thus far. I've read one of his mother's books in the past, as well as the one on homeschooling that his sister wrote. I've also seen a video series his father did and read part of "L'Abri". I've long been interested in this family and this book sheds a lot of light on things.
