There are any number of ways to define “slow living”. It’s highly personal. What one person finds slow and simple, another might find utterly boring. Simple living can be practiced on a homestead or a city apartment. Here is one take on it:

Madisun is a young mother who has stepped out of the mainstream to raise her children in a simpler manner. Her videos cover topics such as minimalism, self care, decluttering, capsule wardrobes, DIY, digital minimalism, and living a slow life.
This is one of my favorite channels. Paola is such a sweet and gentle soul. She shares beautiful footage of her home and the mountain area in which she lives. Her home is utterly charming, decorated simply with handmade items, her artwork, books, and things she has gathered from the land around her. She exudes peace. And she has a book:

I would really struggle living in Norway, a place with so little sunlight for much of the year but the videography is stunning. Such a quiet, peaceful place – the epitome of “hygge”.
