David has been wanting a tattoo for quite awhile so when my brother and sister-in-law said they were going to Dallas and asked if we’d like to go, this seemed like a good time. My brother, Mike, is a doctor and has had two of his three tattoos done at Tigger’s in Dallas. He had thoroughly checked them out to make sure they carefully followed proper safety procedures. My sister-in-law, Miranda, is a nurse (and so am I) so David was joking that he brought his medical staff with him.
Of course I had to photograph the whole thing so I could blog about it. So, without further ado:

Might need to work on that tan:

Very nice tattoo!
VERY COOL! No Pirate worth his salt would be complete without a tattoo.
That’s a great tattoo. How come you didn’t get one too? I have a tattoo, got it when I was 21, it’s on my upper back (left). I want another one, but my DH doens’t like them : (
I didn’t get a tattoo for at least two reasons. One, the *pain on purpose* thing. Two, I can’t think of anything I’m 100% certain I’d still want decorating my body 20 years from now. I mean, I’ve had some jewelry I really liked at one time and now I’m like, over it. You know?
I’m thinking temporary tattoos are the way to go for me. 😉
Was that a smile or a grimace of pain in the “Smile for the camera” photo?? the tattoo is OK, but I *really* like the Farmer’s Tan.
Congrats on the tattoo, Cap’n David!
I think it was a real smile. He handled it quite well. And as for the farmer’s tan, he’s planning to work on that. 😉
Looks great.
My hubby has quite a few from his “wild days”
Much bloglove,
