Thursday Three…
Three reasons I’d like to be a writer:
- Writing on a laptop in a coffee shop is a cool way to spend an afternoon.
- “I’m a writer” sounds ever so much better than “I don’t work” as a reply to that annoying question, “And what do you do?”.
- If I write and sell the next great American novel we can afford to retire in New Orleans.
I love to write too but I’m not very good.
I wrote a few children’s books years ago but I’m too chicken to send them off to anyone.
I did have a couple of articles published a few years ago and even got paid for one of them.
I would also love to be able to answer THAT question with “I’m a writer”.
