These pictures don’t look like much but you should have seen the blizzard conditions yesterday. Oklahoma basically shut down. It was not a pretty sight for people trying to travel in it but today? Well, at least the sun is shining and our house is warm. Now, how many more days until Spring?
David has been using as he replaces the siding. He will be enclosing the balcony
with big windows on all three sides. Our bedroom opens
onto the balcony and I can hardly wait to have
all this new, usable space. I am going to move my
desk out there and fill the space with plants. Oh, and there will be a
window seat across the front under the windows
with shelves underneath for books. I think it will be my dream room.
Lisa and Justin braved the roads early this morning and were here to open presents with us. Justin learned to drive in snowy weather in St. Louis so it doesn’t bother him. Truth be told, he rather enjoys it. 😉 We, however, were not inclined to do likewise so we will be joining my parents tomorrow instead of our original plans to go over this afternoon. We ended up having such a peaceful, restful day today that I’m almost glad we got snowed in. Almost.
