I like to drink a glass of orange juice each morning, especially during cold and flu season. It’s more cost effective to purchase the frozen juice and reconstitute it myself so that is what I do. However, I don’t really like having to take up a lot of space in the refrigerator with a pitcher, not to mention the risk of some spilling or sloshing out over the top. The size and shape of the clear plastic bottle that a particular brand of orange juice comes in is just perfect so I carefully wash it and refill it with reconstituted juice as needed. One thing I really like is that because of the screw on cap, I can vigorously shake the bottle before pouring in order to make sure it is well mixed. Much easier and more effective than stirring, plus I don’t have an extra spoon to wash.
I love orange juice. You are right it is really good for you.
Thanks for the tip.

I just recently discovered this very same trick. We use an old Ocean Spray juice bottle. And I especially love to shake it up right before pouring without fear of spills. 🙂
