As the temperature drops I like to warm up with a hot bubble bath, especially at bedtime. We have extremely hard water which builds up quickly in the tub/shower. I’ve not done a very good job keeping up with it this summer but soon I’ll want to take bubble baths so it’s time to do a serious cleaning. I found the following recipe on Pinterest:
Heat one cup of vinegar in microwave. Add one tablespoon corn starch and two tablespoons of dish detergent. Mix and pour in spray bottle. Spray shower/tub, let sit an hour, wipe and rinse.
The vinegar dissolves hard water deposits, the detergent cleans and the cornstarch thickens the solution so it clings to the walls, allowing it to work better. It really does work!
I’ve got bubble bath and candles but I’m also going to order these:
Do you like to take bubble baths, too?
