Welcome to 31 Days of Autumn Nesting, a month-long series of posts in which I cosy up the house and try to embrace the changing seasons. We all know how I feel about saying goodbye to summer and how I try to make the best of it with such things as my Autumn Bucket List. And then yesterday I saw this post on the Nesting Place and decided this blog series opportunity fit in perfectly with my plans. You see, not only do I want to make the most of this season, but we leave October 26th for eleven days in New Orleans. That means that when we return, the holiday season will be hot on my trail so getting my house in shape and things ready for winter <shudder> needs to start NOW.
So I invite you to follow along as I share my efforts to make my house warm and cozy, as well as work in some special autumn treats. And if you are participating in Nesting Place’s 31 Days event, please leave me a link in the comments and I’ll be sure to follow along with you, too.
