Notice anything different? I decided it was time for a little blog redecorating. I’m cleaning things up, getting rid of some widgets, adding some new ones and moving things around. This will most likely continue for the next couple of days so please be patient. If you have any suggestions, let me know. I’m also trying to make sure the page loads in a reasonable amount of time so widgets may come and go as I test this aspect. I also noticed that the center column width has decreased so old videos are now too wide in some cases. I’ll be going back and fixing this over time. If you happen to see one and would like to help me out, please let me know the name of the post.
And now for a little music:

I'm impressed with your sophisticated html skills! I've recently made changes to my blog, but I've gone in the opposite direction. I went very minimal on mine as I've been focusing on simplicity. However, I may go back and add a few gadgets. I do like to see what others are reading/thinking/doing so might need reintroduce a little more content for my readers.

Oh, don't be too impressed. I spent a couple of hours trying to make a blog button yesterday – without success. 😉 I'm going to be moving much of what is in my sidebars to the tabs under the header in an effort to clean up and simplify the main page. My main goal for yesterday was to just change the overall appearance. I like blogs with dark backgrounds (some of them) but I find it difficult sometimes to read white print on black. I thought this was a nice compromise. And of course I still have some purple. 😉
I usually read blogs in my Google Reader so don't often see what the blogs actually look like. I'm going to be spending a lot of time actually clicking through and getting ideas from the blogs I read.

I just went and looked at your blog and one thing you might consider is gathering all your sustainable living posts in one easy-to-find place – either on the sidebar or a page under the header. You've got some great information that a new visitor might miss if they don't go back and read old posts.

Deanna, thanks for the great advice! I never thought of that. I'll have to look into doing it when I have some time.
