I’m in full-on Christmas mode now. We watched “Miracle on 34th Street” Friday and today I decorated the entry table with the Nativity set. I’ve also started listening to Christmas music. We’ve seen these guys performing on the corner of Canal and Bourbon. This is precisely the sort of thing we love about New Orleans. There is something incredibly magical about a place where you encounter music everywhere from designated music venues to street corners. And just as you see in this video, everyone joins in and becomes part of the fabric of life in this city. The joy is palpable. Oh, I wish I were there…
