I’m all about cosy things now that cold weather has arrived here in Oklahoma. I’ve traded my Birkenstocks for lined slippers and upped my hot tea consumption. David has been building fires in our fireplace the past few evenings and I’m plotting ways to carve out time to curl up with a good book.
It’s also time to get serious about Christmas shopping. I’ve put together a collection of gift ideas sure to warm the hearts of those on your gift list.

Cosy Gift Guide:
Java-Log – Environmentally friendly, made from recycled coffee grounds. Coffee-scented fire!
Love Actually – One of my favorite contemporary holiday movies.
Ghiradelli cocoa – Nothing better than a steaming mug of hot cocoa on a cold winter night.
Eco-Soy candle – Candles make a room cosy and this vanilla-scented one will add a touch of sweetness.
Minnetonka faux fur lined slippers – I have a pair and LOVE them! In fact, I’m wearing them right now.
Cashmere shawl/scarf – Sometimes you have to go outside, if only to walk the dog.
Winter Solstice by Rosemunde Pilcher – Pilcher writes the cosiest stories and this one is sure to be a delight.
Faux Fur Throw Blanket – Everyone needs a soft, warm blanket to curl up with.
Any one of these would make a lovely gift. Or for that special someone, why not wrap several of these together for the warmest, cosiest gift ever. They will remember you fondly on those chilly winter nights when your thoughtfulness helps them feel warm and toasty.

I have that book. I haven’t read many of her books, but Winter Solstice is one I own a copy of, and have read a few times now. It’s a great read, in my opinion.

I’ve read several of hers but can’t recall if I’ve read this one. It’s not on my shelves so unless I borrowed it from the library I may have missed this one.
