December Meditation Challenge ~ Day 15

December 15, 2015 By Deanna Piercy 4 Comments

We had a wonderful long weekend in New Orleans but now I’ve got to kick it into high gear. I’m really trying not to let hurry and stress take over. That means meditation time will be especially important.

December Meditation Challenge ~ Day 15

Meditation Day 15

This one is a bit longer than what I usually share but sometimes we need more.

Blissful Inner Peace:

Do you wonder how you can find time to meditate when your life is hectic? This short article has some good suggestions:

How to Squeeze Meditation into Your Busy Schedule

And this one explains why it is so important to make time for meditation:

If You’re Too Busy to Meditate, Read This

Developing a strong, regular meditation habit is one of my major goals for 2016. I know that I feel better able to cope with stress when I do this and since stress is such a major issue for me, I simply must take this seriously.

What about you? How do you deal with stress? I’d love to hear any helpful hints you may have. Let’s talk about it in the comments.

Namaste, friends…

How do I deal with stress? Poorly! 😉

Seriously though… I meditate regularly, and use breathing exercises to try and keep calm (as well as try to avoid asthma attacks). But sometimes I still struggle to cope when things are really stressful.

It’s truly a challenge sometimes, isn’t it? Do you have a link to information about the breathing exercises you do for asthma?

Yes, it is difficult at times.

Sorry, but no. They’re sort of based on the way you’re told to focus on your breathing when relaxing for a meditation, which I’ve learned to adapt to work to calm my breathing enough that I can gain control over the asthma attack before it gets going. Beyond that, I’m not sure how to explain it.

I need to experiment with that. Although I’m hoping not to have an opportunity to do so for a long time. 😉
