I came up with what I hope will be a daily routine which can be accomplished in about an hour and will leave my house in reasonably good condition each day.
- make bed
- swish and swipe master bathroom *
- take wastebasket and load of laundry downstairs
- empty wastebasket into kitchen trashcan (and other downstairs wastebaskets if needed)
- start laundry
- put away clean dishes, empty dishwasher
- wash (or put in dishwasher) any dishes left in sink or from breakfast
- start at front door and walk through each room tidying up anything out of place
- swish and swipe guest bathroom *
- feather dust tables and other flat surfaces
- vacuum main traffic areas
- drink a glass of water
I’m not sure if I can accomplish all this in one hour. I’ll be out of town today but I’ll give it a whirl and time myself on Thursday or Friday and then report back.
*“Swish and Swipe” is a Flylady term which you can read about here. I add wiping the mirror, sink and counter to it, all of which can be done in about three minutes or less and leaves your bathroom in decent shape on a daily basis.

Something I've started doing just before I begin my nighttime routine (so I guess I should say I've added this to my routine!) is to walk through the house and put away everything that is out of place (clear counters, dishdrainer, dining table, side tables etc.) It sure does help me cut down on that need to set to work right away in the morning, or to not feel I'm wasting time if I choose to linger over Bible study and coffee.
The house is by no means cleaned at night, just taking 15 minutes to do a walk through and clear the clutter that accumulates towards the end of the evening.

I generally do the same thing with the exception of putting away the dishes in the drainer. We tend to eat fairly late so they aren't always dry yet. But otherwise, I also like to make sure things are pretty much in order before I go to bed. Makes the mornings so much more pleasant!

My fibro cleaning routine is work a little, rest a little. It takes me longer to get everything done, but I don't feel rushed or stressed anymore. In between my cleaning I read my devotionals, visit FB a bit, or work on a craft or meal prep (this is "play time" for me as I love to putter in the kitchen). I love the routine you have mapped out~very do-able in a day's time. God bless you in your homekeeping.

I don't talk about it much but I've got fibromyalgia, too, which is why I can't work quite like I used to. Fortunately no one else seems to mind that my house isn't kept as spotless as I used to keep it.
