Last week I asked how many of you count on this weekly review. I just had one response and while she said she uses it as a quick way to return to the week’s posts, it wasn’t essential to her. I’ve been doing some thinking about how I utilize my blogging time. I have some blog-related projects in the works which I need more time for. One way I can squeeze in a bit more time is by eliminating the “Week in Review” posts. These actually take more time to put together than you might think.
I decided to move my weekly newsletter to Saturdays and let it take the place of the weekly blog review posts. Sort of a “killing two birds with one stone” thing. But not mockingbirds. Never kill a mockingbird! You did hear that Harper Lee, the author of “To Kill a Mockingbird” died this week, right?
So, if you are a newsletter subscriber you will have already received this week’s first Saturday edition which included links to blog posts, the best of Facebook, YouTube video of the week, podcast of the week, quote of the week…AND…something I’m pretty excited about. One of my posts was featured on The Glamorous Housewife this week:
If you aren’t a subscriber you can subscribe below. I only send out one a week so I won’t be filling up your inbox. And it’s super easy to unsubscribe later if you decide to. If you’d like a copy of the one I sent out today, leave me a comment or email me and I’ll forward a copy to you.
Hope you are having a wonderful weekend!

I only heard about Harper Lee early this morning… I’ve not really been online for about a week due to being away. There really have been a lot of deaths since the start of this year, haven’t there?

How was your trip?
Tori says
Mostly it was pretty good, though there were parts that weren’t so good, and the first half didn’t go at all to plan (partially due to my Mam ending up sick, and me ending up with my Dad the whole time rather than just half of it). But – as I said – it was a pretty good trip. I’m extremely glad to be home though, and have spent most of the last couple of days alternating between sleeping and getting caught up with e-mails and things. Luckily, I scheduled a load of blog posts before I went away, so they’re going up while I catch up on everything else, which gives me time to rest while I catch up in the next week or so before I need to worry about writing blog posts. I’m planning a couple of posts about my trip next month some time, which I’ll sort out once I’m caught up with everything I missed while I was away, so you can read those if you want full details about my trip.

I’ll be sure to check out your posts. I’m woefully behind on blog reading but I hope to catch up this week.

You have plenty of time. The first of the posts about my trip is scheduled for the second Monday of March.
