Dee’s Week in Review ~ February 6, 2016

February 6, 2016 By Deanna Piercy 3 Comments

While putting together this week’s review post I decided to use “decluttering” as a focus of sorts. On Tuesday I posted about my Decluttering Challenge so that’s been on my brain this week. By the way, feel free to jump in and join me on this. Take a look at the post for more information.

Anyway, maybe it’s the warm-ish, sunny days we have been having but I’m truly in the mood to clear out and clean up around here. On Valentine’s Day we will have been in this house for 18 years. We raised and homeschooled our two children here and all the crap stuff that entails. It is well past time for me to seriously lighten the load around here.

If this topic resonates with you then be sure to check out the YouTube video of the week and listen to the podcast I share below. I’m also going to include a few decluttering links.

I hope the decluttering is going well?

Our weather’s been nasty most of the time, but we did make some progress with sorting the computer room. We did the change around of the computers so that hubby’s away from the window and I’m closer to it, and my new computer chair will be here any day now (I think it’s coming Tuesday). In a couple of weeks time we’ll get hubby’s new chair, and then we’ll just need to sort out the shelves and such in this room, which will be our priority over the next couple of months.

Doesn’t it feel good to get some of these things done? We spent most of today clearing out our laundry room which has pretty much been a dumping ground. We are exhausted but happy to have it done.

Yep, it always feels good when you can see some of it is done. 🙂
