Grocery Haul ~ Fourth Week of November

Welcome to the fourth week of November’s LWD Grocery Haul series in which I share our weekly grocery purchases, including prices. I’m always curious to see what others purchase and what food prices are in different countries or regions. I hope you are finding this series interesting and helpful.

November 2025 ~ Week Four

This week I finished up my grocery shopping for the holiday meal this Thursday. It will just be David, Chris and me here but I’ll make a few plates of food to take to my mom in assisted living. She has a refrigerator and microwave so she can reheat the meals over the next couple of days. I’m also planning to make an additional dessert (pumpkin spice cake) because she really likes sweets.

It’s a lot of work making the entire big meal myself but the best part are the few days worth of leftovers afterwards. There is nothing better than a turkey and cranberry sandwich along with a plate of assorted side dishes. I can’t wait!

And I must give a shout-out to my husband who always does the dishes by himself after big holiday meals. Considering that I use our china, crystal and silver which require hand-washing, that’s no small feat. But we make a good team. 🙂
