Welcome to the second week of May’s LWD Grocery Haul series in which I share our weekly grocery purchases, including prices. I’m always curious to see what others purchase and what food prices are in different countries or regions. I hope you are finding this series interesting and helpful.

Our weekly menu…
I’m writing this Thursday night. Monday and Tuesday night’s dinners were as planned.
I had a lot of leftovers from Tuesday night so I made a casserole from them for Wednesday night. I made some instant potatoes for the base then topped with the leftover turkey, vegetables and stuffing. I topped it with grated cheese and some French fried ovens then baked until hot and bubbly. I then served this with leftover cranberry sauce. It was quite tasty.
Tonight I decided I didn’t want to cook. Chris had not had lunch at work so he picked up something on his way home. Since it was just David and myself, and the chicken I was thawing was still mostly frozen, I opted to pick up club sandwiches and fries from a restaurant. I’ll make the chicken soup and grilled cheese tomorrow night and move the fish and chips to Saturday.
